PERSONAL STATEMENT
Over the past years, I have served as Regional Health Delegate in several regions of Guinea-Bissau, leading public health strategies and coordinating the national COVID-19 response. I hold a Medical Degree from the Raúl Diaz Arguelles Faculty of Medicine, awarded with a Gold Diploma, and later specialized in General Comprehensive Medicine. I have always nurtured a strong interest in scientific research and received the Excellence Award in Student Scientific Conferences for my work on "Shaken Baby Syndrome." I am currently finalizing my Master's dissertation in Public Health, focused on the topic: “Prevalence of Type II Diabetes Mellitus, Arterial Hypertension and Obesity in Farim.”
