Visão Geral

A investigação laboratorial centra-se nas vias de sinalização intra-axonal e dendrítica, em neurónios do hipocampo e corticais, em condições fisiológicas e patológicas. Em particular, o grupo visa estudar o envolvimento da disfunção da autofagia intra-axonal no início da doença de Alzheimer e entender o papel das proteínas de ligação ao RNA em distúrbios raros do desenvolvimento neurológico e epilepsia.
