On January 24th, the Rómulo Science Center of the University of Coimbra will host the inaugural meeting of the Neuroimmunology and Encephalitis Study Group (GENIE).
This meeting marks the official launch of GENIE, an association with an interest in research and healthcare to patients with Autoimmune Encephalitis. This initiative originated with a group of researchers from the CNC-UC - Center for Neuroscience and Cell Biology at the University of Coimbra.
The meeting will be a meeting point for researchers and health professionals with an interest in Autoimmune Encephalitis, whose program includes the presentation and launch of the website, scientific and clinical lectures as well as collaborative sessions.
This meeting represents the start of the association's work, bringing together specialists and promoting interdisciplinary collaborations in the field of Autoimmune Encephalitis.
The event is free and requires registration here. Participation is limited to 50 people. The event will be in Portuguese.
