Research Funding & Project Management Office

Overview

The funding of CNC-UC research is supported by the Research Funding & Project Management Office. Its mission is to boost CNC-UC’s capacity to attract research funds, improving direct fundraising and management by research teams and the elaboration and management of their scientific projects.

Services offered to researchers include:

Pre-award Level

Scouting for funding opportunities

Researchers can find a list of currently available CNC-UC-relevant funding opportunities after signing in.

Info/tutorial sessions

On specific funding programmes/calls and national and international funding policies.

Proposal development and submission

Supporting researchers developing and submitting their proposals to specific calls. Writing institutional proposals to attract competitive funding.

Post-award Level

Projects 

Drafting consortium and grant agreements. Management of major international and/or institutional projects. Supporting the elaboration of project reports.

Funding

CNC is funded by the CIBB UID pluriannual projects UIDB/04539/2020 and UIDP/04539/2020, as well as by the CIBB Associate Laboratory project LA/P/0058/2020.

CNC is also funded by researcher-driven competitive funding from multiple sources, including:
