Dear colleagues,
We are thrilled to announce the 8th annual Neuroscience & Disease CiBB retreat. The event will take place on June 11th at Centro de Artes e Espectáculos – Figueira da Foz and promises to be a memorable day dedicated to science, fun and sharing of ideas.
Participation in the retreat is free, with mandatory registration here.
The preliminary program is available here.
If you would like to stay for the barbecue and the social activities that follow, please register separately here. We kindly ask you not to register for this part of the event unless you intend to attend, to help us avoid unnecessary waste.
This event is not only an excellent opportunity to foster scientific and social networking, but also a moment to highlight key advances achieved over the past year and to outline the future of our research community.
The program features a keynote lecture by the inspiring neuroscientist Michael Coleman from the University of Cambridge under the title ‘Keeping your nerves’, as well as spotlight talks by our very own CiBB researchers.
Following lunch, we will have a team building activity to unleash your imagination. Will you be the winner of the CiBB Ig Nobel prize? The day will close with the highlights of the year, followed by a sunset barbecue.
Looking forward to seeing you there!
The organizing committee,
Alessio Vagnoni, Ester Coutinho, Mónica Santos e Raquel Boia
