Objetivos

This course aims at providing an overview of the field of Science of Science (Research on Research), tools and indicators used to measure research performance and activities.

Objectives :
- To give an historical overview and background of the field of scientometrics;
- To provide insights on the evolution of academic communication and publishing;
- To give an overview of the different bibliometric data sources;
- To understand and interpret research indicators and their respective limitations.
