From October 21 to 23 2026, Coimbra will host the 3rd General Assembly of the European Rare Diseases Research Alliance (ERDERA), organised by the University of Coimbra, namely GeneT.
ERDERA is a major European initiative (about 180 partners from 37 countries) dedicated to advancing research and innovation in rare diseases, bringing together researchers, healthcare professionals, patient organisations, industry representatives and policymakers from across Europe. Within ERDERA, our team leads the Acceleration Workstream and the Technology Accelerator Work Package, driving the development and advancement of innovative therapeutic technologies and platforms.
In this context, we would like to invite you to attend the Public Session, which will bring together national and international experts and provide an opportunity for discussion and exchange on the key challenges and opportunities in rare disease research, the development of innovative therapies, and the translation of research into clinical practice.
