Overview

We found that maternal nutrition during pregnancy can adversely impact fetal renal, hepatic and cardiac mitochondrial biology. Now we are investigating whether fetal mitochondrial energy metabolism can be modulated during gestation by other factors to improve fetal health and decrease diseases incidence.
