The International Conference Theatre about Science is back for a third edition - TAS2025!

Coimbra, Portugal (23-25 October 2025)

Our last two meetings, held in 2021 and 2023, revealed a rich ecosystem of academics, theatre practitioners and science communicators, who perform, communicate and/or reflect upon science through theatre.

Following the success of these conferences, we will organise in Coimbra, on 23-25 October 2025, the TAS2025. Watch last edition aftermovie here. 

We encourage participations from all over the globe, with the aim of mapping and expanding the network of people working in this interdisciplinary field – Are you working in this field? What are you doing? Why do you do it?

The TAS2025 Conference Grants aim to increase the opportunity to participate in this event to a diverse network of people who work and/or are interested in blending theatre with science, but that are unable to cover the cost of registration, accommodation and/or travel to Coimbra. The main objective of these grants is to encourage the presence of participants who contribute to a diverse and inclusive conference. The grants are powered by Ciência Viva.
