Diana Bela Sequeira. Completed her BSc in Dental Medicine (Faculty of Medicine, University of Coimbra), MSc in Dental Medicine (Faculty of Medicine, University of Coimbra) and PhD in Experimental Biology and Biomedicine (2022) (Institute of Interdisciplinary Research, University of Coimbra) by the University of Coimbra. She is a Invited Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Coimbra since 2010, and Researcher at the Center for Neuroscience and Cell Biology. She has published 10 scientific papers, 16 conference abstracts and 1 book chapter. She has given 5 oral presentations of her work and has participated in 32 events. Diana co-supervised 3 MSc degree dissertations and has served as Jury in 5 MSc degree dissertations. Diana has received 6 awards/distinctions, including the 2019 Pierre Fabre Award for Best Oral Research Communication, Congress of the Order of Dentists (Lisbon, 2019). Her works centers in the area of Medical and Health Sciences with emphasis on Clinical Medicine, Biomaterials and Technologies involving the manipulation of Dental Stem Cells and animal models, including their application in the field of neurobiology.
