Currently a PhD student (2022-2026) at PDBEB, with BSc and MSc in Biology. Research work at LBioMiT (CNC-UC, 2020-now) in mitochondrial biomedicine research & diagnostics, particularly human genetics, as well as pharmacogenomics/precision medicine. Other responsibilities include science communication and support to students and visiting professionals. Currently part of the organization of PubhD Coimbra. Hobbies include reading (plus creation of online community events, “readathons”) and amateur art, particularly a personal pottery project SARAMICS (instagram.com/saramics_pottery or facebook.com/saramics.pottery), which combines ceramics and science.
