The PEarly-Life Environmental AllergeNs in ADHD (ELEANA) project, led by Joana Guedes, investigator at CNC-UC/CIBB (Centre for Innovative Biomedicine and Biotechnology) was one of the 5 projects selected in the 5th Edition of the funding program for “Seed Projects for Interdisciplinary Scientific Research”!
ELEANA, awarded in the Strategic Health Area, is a prospective clinical study with the aim of developing an algorithm based on machine learning to help predict the likelihood of a child developing Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder based on clinical, laboratory and environmental data.
The prize-giving session for the winners took place on April 9, at the Sala do Senado, UC.
