Aim
This course will provide an overview of several critical issues in Experimental Design, including the most recent advances on the scientific method, design of experiments (in vitro, in vivo and clinical trials), the replication crisis, scientific integrity, and best practices on open access to research results, methods and data. It will also include a practical approach to the concepts and tools used in biostatistics, data management, data visualization and reproducibility. It is designed to cover the different stages of the Research Project Life Cycle, from Design & Planning through Experimentation & Analysis, to Dissemination & Data Archiving.
