Isabel Maria Nunes Correia was a student at the University of Coimbra (Portugal) where she did her Master’s in 1999 on Cellular Biology, and her Ph.D. in 2007, on Biochemistry. Since April 2006 she has been working as principal laboratory technician at the Center for Neuroscience and Cell Biology, University of Coimbra, being the responsible for the flow cytometry unit and the cell culture rooms. To date she has fifteen peer-reviewed publications with 212 citations.
