On behalf of the organizing committee, we are excited to announce the 7th Retreat in Neuroscience and Disease of the CiBB (Center for Innovative Biomedicine and Biotechnology). 

Our meeting will foster the Resilient Brain and under this large umbrella we are pleased to invite you to meet Christian Keysers whose work tackles the neural basis of empathy, focusing on brain regions involved in feelings, emotions, sensations, and actions. We will meet inspiring scientists that will share their scientific life journeys, practice Yoga and Mindfulness, experience the harmonies of healing through music and award the best neuroscience 2023-2025 paper produced in-house.

This meeting will take place on May 22nd, 2025, at Biocant Park, Cantanhede, from 9.30 am to 8 pm.

The annual retreat initiative is a very important activity for the Neuroscience and Disease community in CiBB to get together, foster scientific discussion and promote collaborations. We are looking forward to meeting you all there.
