BEBIN Day 2026 - Day-to-day Science: Translating Research into real-world solutions

We are pleased to invite you to the 20th edition of our annual event, now with an exciting update: the event will bring together the Doctoral Programme in Experimental Biology and Biomedicine (PDBEB) and the new International Doctoral Program in Integrative Neuroscience (idPIN), and will therefore be presented under its new name – BEBIN Day.

Under the theme Day-to-day Science: Translating Research into real-world solutions it will take place on the 9th April 2026, at UC-Exploratório in Coimbra.

More details about this event will be communicated later but, for now, we would like to ask you to please save the date!

BEB Day 2025 - From micro-scales to macro-worlds: transcending the limits of science

The event

The 19th edition of the PDBEB symposium organized by the Doctoral Programme in Experimental Biology and Biomedicine (PDBEB) students, from the Institute of Interdisciplinary Research, University of Coimbra, will take place on the 26th and 27th of May 2025 at the Seminário Maior de Coimbra. 

Under the theme “From Microscales to Macroworlds: Transcending the Limits of Science”, this edition is divided into two days. The first day is dedicated to "Micro scales" and the second to the "Macro worlds".
